Maple Drum Sticks - Wood Tip or Nylon Tip available. Nylon tips maintain a more consistent sound than wood tips, especially for heavy hitters. You'll find that nylon tips last longer, particularly on cymbals or other hard surfaces. Although nylon tips lack that classic wood sound, you'll never have to worry about chipping. Wooden tips on the other hand sounds better on the toms, that's why many rock and pop drummers prefer it than the nylon tips. "Good sounding" being, of course, subjective.
